First Day of Dance

So excited!

We have a little dancing queen in the house! Gabby had been telling me all summer that she wanted to take dance, so this fall we signed up for dance at Just For Kix. I wasn't sure how she would do as this was the first time she ever joined in a group activity. The first day of class she didn't do anything except watch. The parents are asked to go out in the hall (less distraction). I watched from the hall and she just stood there, biting her nails and watching. The second class she asked me not to leave the room, and got sad for a moment when I did, but then she participated and did great! She remembered all the moves and danced along with the rest of the class. This past week she did super again! She is picking it up so quickly and remembering almost all of the moves. She has already made some friends and talks about them a lot. (Olivia, Kylie, Alaina) She says she loves dance and she looks forward to going each week.

A Golden 9th Birthday

My neice Klaire turned 9 today..... it is her golden birthday. Happy Birthday Klaire! Last year she mentioned she wanted to get her ears peirced. I told her if she really wanted to, I would take her. So...on Sunday I took her to the mall and got them done for her! I also let her pick out some cute new earrings. She did super great and looks so cute!

This is Benny. Benny had a scary day on Friday. He got lost at Walmart. He and Gabby were both so sad, so I made a second trip to Walmart and luckily....I found him. He was laying on a shelf in the baby section next to some underwear. Poor Benny!

Gabbitude

Happy Birthday to my sweet little big Angel!!

When Gabby was just a baby, our neighbors, the Bauers, came up with this nickname: "Gabbitude" Boy, what a perfect fit for this girl! To this day, I still use that nickname, but it has mostly been shorten to "Tudes" or "Tuders"

I can't believe she is 3 already! Time goes by so fast! And I have to say that I am so proud of my "little" girl for doing so great with her potty training, just in time for her birthday!! Hip Hip Horray!

Today Gabby discovered that having a birthday is fun! Lots of attention! She brought treats to daycare to share and came home with presents! She got a musical book and coloring book from Kim and a blue stuffed cow from her friends Devin and Clara! Thank you so much everyone!! The cow has been named Benny and went to bed with Gabby tonight. "I not cry tonight," she said, "I hold Benny tight." She also received a special phone call from her cousins Erica and Morgan tonight, they called to sing Happy Birthday! So cute!

For her b-day this year, Gabby got a new big girl bike! She was very excited! The first few trys were a little drama filled, (she kept pushing the peddles backward instead of forward). She told me she wanted a different bike. You just have to keep trying I told her! She did....and within a few hours she was biking round the driveway all on her own! Yeah!!

Gabby also got some fishies of her very own! The tank has special color changing bulbs, so it is really cool she says! The fishies have been named "Gum" and "Goldfish".
