Smile!

On January 16th the big boys both got braces!!! I knew this time would come at some point (that they would need them)....but didn't really expect that they would have them at the same time.  Kind of expensive for us to have them both go through it at the same time...... but, at least they both have someone to go through the experience with. 

They both did great! No complaints! They both said their mouths have been sore this past week, but seem to both be getting used to them and are feeling better.

They will have them for about 2 years, hopefully they will have straight perfect teeth when its all done!

Just a little surgery

On New Years Eve someone in our house had to have a little surgery.  Don't be too alarmed, it was just Gabbys doll.  :)    Santa Claus brought her this really nice, cute dolly.  Gabby named her Ella. She came with her own diaper bag, clothes, burp rags and even a bottle. Gabby has played with her just about every day since Christmas. 

However, on New Years Eve day, when Gabby was changing Ella's clothes, something happened.

"Oh No!!"  Gabby said

"What happened to her arm?"

Bryan and I looked and sure enough, Ella's arm had come off and got stuck in the shirt. Poor Ella!

Don't worry Gabby, mommy can fix her.

So I pulled out my needle and thead, and we had a little surgery right on the kitchen counter.

Rest assured, Ella is as good as new!

My Beautiful Family

So, I was going to go to bed early tonight. So much for that.....it seems like I sit down at the

computer to "do a few things" and next thing I know, its 10pm.

Bryan bought me a digital picture keychain for Christmas,

so I had to load some pictures onto it ya know. (48 of them)

Then I sent a few emails and then, decided to do another blog post.

This year at Christmas I wanted (made) Bryan and

each of the kids to take a picture with me. We tried a family

picture at Thanksgiving...and it was, um.....not good.

So I decided to do this instead. I managed to get all my boys to take one with me

on Christmas Eve. Gabby decided she didn't want to. But I found one

of her and I at an earlier date to share with you.

They are silly.....but I love them!

Merry Christmas 2011!

Christmas at our house was a success!! The kids all helped us clean the house this morning.. (they know that we cannot open gifts until the house is clean)...
And then we opened presents! They all loved their gifts and are busy playing!

Dancing Queen

First Day of Dance

So excited!

We have a little dancing queen in the house! Gabby had been telling me all summer that she wanted to take dance, so this fall we signed up for dance at Just For Kix. I wasn't sure how she would do as this was the first time she ever joined in a group activity. The first day of class she didn't do anything except watch. The parents are asked to go out in the hall (less distraction). I watched from the hall and she just stood there, biting her nails and watching. The second class she asked me not to leave the room, and got sad for a moment when I did, but then she participated and did great! She remembered all the moves and danced along with the rest of the class. This past week she did super again! She is picking it up so quickly and remembering almost all of the moves. She has already made some friends and talks about them a lot. (Olivia, Kylie, Alaina) She says she loves dance and she looks forward to going each week.
